A quick trip to Prague

I haven't posted anything for a week because Celine and I hopped over to Prague for a week.  Here's a sample of our dining there before we get back to French cuisine!

Czech beer and fried cheese!  (Chicken salad for Celine)
The best vegetarian restaurant in Prague (yes, they do exist!): Lekha Hlava!  Be sure to make a reservation, it's always booked solid!

Market fruit!  One container costs about 3 euros

A very cool restaurant on Wenceslas Square where your drinks are brought to you by model train!  This was one of our international evenings, with three Czechs, two Americans, one Portuguese and one French.

Dark Czech beer is the best (shhhh, don't tell the Czechs)!

Medovnik!  A Czech speciality made with many layers of soft gingerbread and honey!
I hope one of those is for me!

A delicious goat-cheese and avocado hamburger made for us by our host, Pavel

  1. 1. Dark beer is definitely the best.
    2. Pavel looks like quite a good cook as well, apart from being a cool guy!
